창작과비평

1966년 충남 논산에서 태어나 연세대 국문과와 동대학원 박사과정을 졸업했다. 1989년 중앙일보 신춘문예에 시 「뿌리에게」가 당선되어 작품 활동을 시작했다.

시집으로 『뿌리에게』 『그 말이 잎을 물들였다』 『그곳이 멀지 않다』 『어두워진다는 것』 『사라진 손바닥』 『야생사과』 『말들이 돌아오는 시간』 『파일명 서정시』 『가능주의자』 , 시론집 『보랏빛은 어디에서 오는가』, 산문집 『반통의 물』 『저 불빛들을 기억해』 등이 있다.

김수영문학상, 오늘의 젊은 예술가상, 현대문학상, 이산문학상, 소월시문학상 등을 수상했으며 현재 서울과학기술대학교 문창과 교수로 재직 중이다.

Born in 1966 in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, Na Hee-duk studied Korean literature (BA, MA, and ABD) at Yonsei University. She made her literary debut with the selection of her poetry in the annual contest hosted by the daily JoongAng Ilbo in 1989. Currently a professor of creative writing at Chosun University, she has received the 17th Kim Su-yeong Literary Award (1998), Today's Young Artist Award (2001), and 48th Contemporary Literature Prize (2003). She has authored: poetry collections To Roots (1991), Those Words Have Colored the Leaves(1994), That Place Isn't Far away (1997), Getting Dark (2001), and The Disappeared Palms (2004); prose collection Half a Container of Water (1999); and poetry criticism collection Whence Comes the Color Purple (2003).
