1960년 출생. 한신대 중국지역학과 교수. 한국외국어대 중국학과를 졸업하고 동대학원에서 중국정치학 전공으로 박사학위를 받았다. 뻬이징대 아태연구쎈터 교환연구원과 지린성(吉林省) 사회과학원 객원교수, 워싱턴대 방문교수를 역임하고, 현재 성균관대 정외과 교수로 재직중이다. 공저로 『대중화경제권과 한중정치관계』 『동북아 신질서의 모색』 『한반도 평화체제의 모색』 등이 있다.

Born in 1960, Lee Hui-ok studied Chinese (BA) and Chinese politics (MA and Ph D) at the Hankook University of Foreign Studies. He has been a visiting researcher at the Asia-Pacific Research Center in Peking University and a visiting fellow at the Jilin Academy of Social Sciences and the University of Washington-Seattle. A professor of Chinese studies at Hanshin University, he has co-authored The Chinese Economic Sphere and Korean-Chinese Political Relations, Search for a New Order in East Asia, and Search for a Peaceful System on the Korean Peninsula.
