1972년 서울에서 태어났다. 백석예술대학 미술과를 졸업하고 미술 전문 매체 『미술신문』 『미술세계』 등에서 취재기자로 일했다. 2009년에 풍부한 미적 감각과 정제된 문장이 돋보이는 장편소설 『바람이 노래한다』를 발표하며 작품 활동을 시작했다. 지은 책으로 『발이 닿지 않는 아이』 『비너스에게』 『꿈꾸는 밤』 등이 있다.

Born in Seoul in 1972, Gwon Ha’eun studied fine arts (BFA) at Baekseok Arts University and served as a reporter for publications including the daily Art Times and the monthly Misul Segye. She made her literary debut with the present volume and currently is a full-time writer.
