1974년 서울에서 태어나 중앙대학교 아동복지학과를 졸업했다. 월간 『어린이문학』을 통해 등단했고, 동화책 『왕봉식, 똥파리와 친구야』『엄마는 거짓말쟁이』『검정 연필 선생님』『내 이름은 개』『화장실에 사는 두꺼비』『나는 꿈이 너무 많아』, 청소년소설집 『호기심』(공저) 들을 냈다.

Born in Seoul, Kim Ri-ri studied child welfare (BSW) at Chung-Ang University. Since her literary debut through the monthly Children’s Literature, she has authored children’s books including Wang Bong-sik Is Friends with a Dung Fly, Mommy Is a Liar, I’ll Be a Great Sister, Please Be My Buddy, and My Name Is Dog.
