1967년 서울에서 태어났다. 1996년 문화일보 신춘문예에 동시 「아버지」가 당선되었고, 눈높이아동문학상, MBC창작동화대상을 받았다. 그동안 『나의 비밀 일기장』『제키의 지구여행』『양파의 왕따일기』『내 친구 고슴도치』등을 펴냈다.

Born in 1967 in Seoul, Mun Seon-i studied Korean education (M Ed) at Kyung Hee University. Her poem for children “Father” was selected in the annual literary competition sponsored by the daily Munhwa Ilbo in 1996. The recipient of awards including the MBC Grand Prize for Children’s Fiction (2000), she has written fiction for young readers such as My Secret Diary, The Yang’s Club Outcast Diary, My Best Friend Gang Man-gi, My Friend the Hedgehog, and Jackie’s Trip to the Earth.
