劉垠實

동화작가. 1974년생. 덕성여대에서 식품영양학을, 명지대에서 문예창작을 공부했다. 『창비어린이』 2004년 겨울호에 신인작품 「내 이름은 백석」을 발표했으며, 동화 『나의 린드그렌 선생님』 『우리 집에 온 마고 할미』 『만국기 소년』 『멀쩡한 이유정』 『마지막 이벤트』 『우리 동네 미자 씨』와 인물이야기 『유관순』, 그림책 『심청전』 들을 냈다.

Born in 1974, Yoo Eun-sil majored in food and nutrition but later studied creative writing to become a writer. Her first novel-length story for children, this work has enjoyed good reviews. The author is one of the hopes of the juvenile literature of Korea indeed.
