李基永. 서울대 물리교육과를 졸업하고, 서강대에서 석사학위를, 미국 루이지애나 주립대에서 이론 고체물리학 연구로 박사학위를 받았다. 미국 아르곤 국립연구소 박사후 연구원을 거쳐, 현재 인하대 물리학과 교수로 재직하고 있다. “Electronic Structure of Small Iron Clusters” 등 20여편의 논문을 발표했으며, 저서로는 『물리학과 우리생활』 『전자기학』 등이 있다.

Born in 1949 in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, Lee Keeyung studied physics education (B Ed) at Seoul National University and physics at Sogang University (MS) and Louisiana State University (Ph D). A former postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, United States, he currently serves as a professor at Inha University. He has translated into Korean Recollections of Eugene P. Wigner and penned works including “Electronic Structure of Small Iron Clusters,” Physics and Our Life, and Electromagnetics.
