Abstract

Jung Hyun Gon submits his appraisal on the 2016 General Election from the perspective of civil politics and the tasks to be carried out in the future. Despite of the presumption of the government and the ruling party on the prospects of the election, the citizens’ longing for the transformation of our society has given a great victory to the opposition parties. However, it is still doubtful whether the political parties today could cope with the urgent needs of the citizens. The deplorable reality, in which the consequences of the election are being appropriated only by the political parties, urges us to search for plausible solutions to the phenomenon.
