Abstract
Lee Hyang-kue's essay, delivered as the last agenda of the project, "Diagnosing Korean Society From the Viewpoint of Minorities", is one about the life of North Korean refugees, often called "Talbukja" in South Korea. We highly recommend this essay, not only because it presents the refugees from North Korea as they really are; that is, what the refugees from North Korea think, feel, and are concerned about in their daily lives, but also it is full of insights and inspiration on the variable relationship of human beings in general. It could provide a valuable insight to those who try to understand the reality of minorities in our society, as well as the life of the immigrants from North Korea.
