창작과비평

1980년생. 충남 서산에서 자랐다. 한국예술종합학교 연극원 극작과 졸업. 2002년 단편 「노크하지 않는 집」으로 제1회 대산대학문학상을 수상하고 같은 작품을 2003년 『창작과비평』 봄호에 발표하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 소설집으로 『달려라 아비』 『침이 고인다』가 있다. 한국일보문학상, 오늘의 젊은 예술가상, 신동엽창작상, 이효석문학상, 김유정문학상, 젊은작가상을 수상했다.

Born in 1980 in Incheon, Kim Ae-ran studied playwriting (BFA) at the Korean National University of Arts. She received the 1st Daesan Literary Prize in Fiction for her short story “The House Where One Does Not Knock,” which was published in The Quarterly Changbi in 2003. In 2005, she received the Daesan Foundation fund and the 38th Hankook Ilbo Literary Prize.
