창작과비평

1963년에 태어나 고려대 중문과 및 동대학원을 졸업했다. 한국과 중국이 수교하던 1992년 겨울부터 2년간 뻬이징 사범대에서 유학했다. 현재 서강대 중국문화전공 교수로 재직하면서 중국 현대문학과 문화를 가르치고 있으며, 중국을 오가면서 중국 문학과 문화의 동향을 한국에 소개하고 있다. 루쉰의 소설, 중국 문화대혁명, 한류와 중국 대중문화 등을 연구했고, 루쉰 산문선 『아침꽃을 저녁에 줍다』 등을 번역했다.

Born in 1963, Lee Wook-yon studied Chinese literature at Korea University (BA and MA) and the Beijing Normal University. Currently a professor at Sogang University, he has authored "Lu Xun's Fictional Creation and the Narrative of Memory," "New Trends among Chinese Intellectuals: With a Focus on the New Left," and "Postcolonial Criticism in China in the 1990's."
